17. The institution complies with the policies of the Commission on Colleges.

3.13 A. Accrediting Decisions of Other Agencies

Applicable Policy Statement. Any institution seeking or holding accreditation from more than one U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting body must describe itself in identical terms to each recognized accrediting body with regard to purpose, governance, programs, degrees, diplomas, certificates, personnel, finances, and constituencies, and must keep each institutional accrediting body apprised of any change in its status with one or another accrediting body.

Documentation: The institution should (1) list federally recognized agencies that currently accredit the institution, (2) provide the date of the most recent review by each agency and indicate if negative action was taken by the agency and the reason for such action, (3) provide copies of statements used to describe itself for each of the accrediting bodies, (4) indicate any agency that has terminated accreditation, the date, and the reason for termination, and (5) indicate the date and reason for the institution voluntarily withdrawing accreditation with any of the agencies.

The institution is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and has four programs that are currently accredited or approved by federally recognized accrediting agencies. Each program has been granted full accreditation. No negative action has been taken against the college and there have been no instances where an accrediting agency has terminated the accreditation of a program as a result of non-compliance.

3. Statements used to describe FGC for each of the accrediting agencies.

FGC takes every precaution not to mislead any accrediting agency when describing the college and the programs. There is no institutional description or narrative required for the ACEN, CAPTE or CoAEMSP application. The ACEN 2014 annual report [7], the CAPTE 2014 annual report [8] and website information [9] and the CoAEMSP annual report [10] are provided. The 2014 Nursing Education Program Survey [11] and the 2015 NLN Biennial Survey of Schools of Nursing [12] are also provided.

4. Any agency that has terminated accreditation, the date, and the reason for termination:

No accrediting agency has terminated the accreditation of FGC or any its programs.

5. The date and reason for the institution voluntarily withdrawing accreditation with any accrediting agencies.

FGC has not voluntarily withdrawn accreditation with any accrediting agency.
